a wool light pink cap and a light pink silk shirt.

What I was up to yesterday.
Actually I had to finish my essay for my master and I stayed up all night. Just as I went to sleep in the morning I received a message from my go-to make-up artist girl if I want to come assist today her make-up class and take some photographs. I said I'll try to do come.
After that I totally tried to sleep for two hours at least but failed miserably. Then, after some time laying in bed I figured I should start my day just then as my head was heavy with ideas and inspiration for the day. And that's what I did. Light make-up (foundation, soft brown on my eyelids, mascara, and some glow on the inner corners of my eyes mostly because I was so tired).
All went beautifully. Pictures above.

Then I went to work and all was good there too. Then I spoke with my cousin- who works with me- and she said to a colleague while all three of us were talking: that's I'm all good; I have a wool light pink cap and a light pink silk shirt. I left my cap on in the office just because it felt comfortable (yes, I am totally one of those people that almost never wears a cap outside in the cold haha but for some reason on a few occasions it feels right).
Only today when going out the door I noticed that- as I paired my hat this time with a wool white sweater. What I noticed that when I dress is that I no longer think about what works with what. And this is the reason I stuck with blogging. Blogging and watching other bloggers, especially fashion bloggers. When I dress I think about what I would like wearing that second/day/moment from my closet. That is all. But it has done so much good for me. Clothes you like seeing and touching change the way you feel troughout your day. And sometimes a bad day can turn into just a bad moment.

Instagram feed

Instagram feed update on the blog as I've been shooting I think every day, sometimes twice a day, and I haven't had time to shoot my look for the blog except just some snapshots of my looks for my Instagram. Three of the outfits I wore this week.
Also, you can check my Facebook page for my latest work: here.

#ootd on instagram and thoughts of PFW

Mobile update of what I wore one day this week. I think it was Tuesday.
Anyway, now I'm browsing the internet feeling inspired, deleting some stuff from my archives on my laptop, and deciding on future trips with friends. Brussels, Amsterdam. Well Paris too....
Is it weird that I was just browsing for their schedule this February? I could try my hand at capturing street style or even trying my hand at volunteering events? Or Milan Fashion Week? As I understand Italian.
But PFW..... I was dreaming about it as I was in Spain last September. Now it feels like I need to be taking the following step after dreaming about it. Actually taking action!

PS: Pictured me wearing a full Zara outfit beside the shoes.
Take care!

at all times

Two almost identical outfit pictures.
My overalls in action. Paired them with a blouse I knew it was kind of difficult to match with.
I'm posing with my canon in all of my outfit pictures but think it's quite photogenic haha. I just add it to the outfit -grin emoticon. I've always struggled to show 'the real part' of my outfit and presenting and capturing how the outfits really look in reality. And so I ask my friends to take a picture of me exactly how I look at that moment. Also I'm trying to reach the next level with my photography and so I have the camera on me at all times.

Today's ootd

A little update on what I wore today at the office ( I'm a strategic data analyst by the way- I keep a lot for myself and that's why I divulge so little about myself but I've started doing that now. You can check my newest posts on my photography blog ).
I just came home late last night and in the morning I took out of the closet the blouse I saw first. I knew I wanted this white dress combined with my white converse and when I saw the blouse, I thought the loose fit at the waist would match perfectly. Perfectly undone that is!
What do you think about this look? I'm interested in finding out if you think the skirt and sneakers (or other sporty inspired shoes) combination is over-saturated or not.

Wearing Converse Chuck, Mango skirt, H&M blouse, Bata bag.

There's always room for common ground

What I've been doing this past week. Shooting, dressing down and mostly for the beach and just enjoying the present time.
